When the heavens opened up there wern't any stop gaps. It just came down in buckets. And we just wern't equipped to deal with the downpour mother nature dished us. Homes, stores, parks, almost everythign had a good wash and a fill up.

For the love of mirrors!

I wish i had the time to paint every single day. My day job takes most of my time. Painting is a passion on hold. Waiting to transform a piece of glass. Where colours will brighten and jolt and finally settle into a semblance of stunning visualization. I'm rambling. Thats mainly because i'm sleepy. Maybe tomorrow it'll be different. Sweet KL

From the window of my hotel room in KL everything seemed so pristine. But one thing that struck me as strange was the food. I really don't know whether it was all the restaurants and hotels i managed to go to or whether it was a nationwide habit but every morsel of food i tasted while i was here was sweet! Me who was used to the spiciest of food couldn't fathom this taste that found its way into everything. Even the chillie sauce!

Holy tree in Chennai

A friend and I were hurtling through the busy Cheenai streets in a tuk tuk when we sped past this holy tree. I dont know the significance behind it though.

I was walking down busy Pettah and woah there it was ! A tree crawling its way out from a window in this old run down building.. How crazy is that.. 

A brief jaunt in the paddy fields of Bandaragama..

Just a 45 minute drive from Colombo and you land in this tiny town called Bandaragama, where lush paddy fields abound both sides of stretch of road..
